# Underlying Token Staking

A downside of many index platforms is that staking yield that could be earned on the underlying tokens is foregone. 

PowerPool developed proprietary staking technology.

It allows to seamlessly change staking strategies, with zero involvement from LPs. Currently $SUSHI stored in $ASSY is staked via xSUSHI.
