# Guide: PancakeSwap LM Farming

To start farming $CAKE rewards, you need two things, BSCDEFI token itself and Pancake Swap LP tokens.

You can mint $BSCDEFI via [PowerIndex](https://powerindex.io/#/binance/0x40e46de174dfb776bb89e04df1c47d8a66855eb3/supply) or buy it from [Pancake Swap](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap).

### Adding BSCDEFI-BNB Liquidity 

To get [BSCDEFI-BNB LP](https://pancakeswap.finance/add/BNB/0x40E46dE174dfB776BB89E04dF1C47d8a66855EB3) tokens, you need to add liquidity [here](https://pancakeswap.finance/add/BNB/0x40E46dE174dfB776BB89E04dF1C47d8a66855EB3).

Enter an amount on one of the tokens under “Input”. The other will calculate automatically.

Click the **Enable BSCDEFI** button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

The **Supply** button will light up. Click it.

A window will appear saying how much you will receive. Click the **Confirm Supply** button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

After a short wait, you will see your LP Token balance at the bottom of the page.

### Staking LP Tokens in the Farm

Go to the [Farms page](https://pancakeswap.finance/farms)

Find your Farm using the search field. To open details, click anywhere on the row showing your pair. Click the **Enable** button and confirm your action in your wallet.

After a moment, the **Enable** button will change to **Stake LP**. Click it, and a new window will appear.

Type the amount of LP Tokens you would like to farm with into the field, or just click **Max** to use all of your LP Tokens, then click the **Confirm** button. Your wallet will ask you to confirm your action.
